  1. On 6 November, the UN observes the International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict.
  2. Education Ministry will celebrate ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Divas’ on 15 November, in schools and higher educational institutions across the country.
  3. Adani New Industries Ltd on 3 November, 2022 announced the installation of country’s largest Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) in Mundra, Gujarat.
  4. Kerala, Maharashtra and Punjab have topped the 2020-21 Performing Grade Index (PGI) that assesses school education at the district level.
  5. Two women officers of the CRPF have been appointed as Inspectors General for the first time after their induction into the force began in 1987.
  6. Hyderabad-based Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL) has bagged a project to build Mongolia’s first greenfield oil refinery.

  14.  Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries has emerged as India’s best employer and the world’s 20th best firm to work with, according to Forbes’ world’s Best Employers rankings in 2022.
  15. Meta Platforms Inc’s Vice-President and Managing Director (MD) of the India unit, Ajit Mohan, has quit the company after a 4-year stint.
