  1. Infant Protection Day is observed annually on 7 November. This day is celebrated to spread awareness about the measures to be taken to save lives of infants and provide sufficient protection and care.
  2. 7 November is observed annually as National Cancer Awareness Day in India to raise awareness about cancer.
  3. Nobel Prize winner and Bharat Ratna awardee, CV Raman was born on 7 November, 1888 in Trichinopoly, Tamil Nadu. India celebrated 134th birth anniversary of CV Raman in 2022.
  4. Rising Sun Water Fest 2022 culminated with a grand closing ceremony at Umiam Lake, Meghalaya. The Rising Sun Water Fest 2022 was a three-day watersport and it was held from 3 to 5 November, 2022.
  5. The Haryana Forest Department and US Agency for International Development (USAID) launched the ‘Trees Outside Forests in India (TOFI)’ program in the state.
  6. Vadodara, Gujarat became the second Indian city to issue a municipal bond with assistance from the United States Treasury Department’s Office of Technical Assistance.
  7. In recognition of his contributions to the bilateral connection between Australia and India, Amit Dasgupta was named an Honorary Member of the General Division of the Order of Australia.
  8. The Uttarakhand government announced that this year’s Uttarakhand Gaurav Samman would be given to National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, poet Prasoon Joshi, late CDS Gen Bipin Rawat and two other individuals for their notable achievements.
